Patrick Atlas develops a photography of places rooted in light, composition, and close attention to urban atmospheres. He photographs places as portraits.

At dawn, during the blue hour, or in the last light of day, he seeks out those moments when a façade, a street, or a landscape ceases to be ordinary and reveals its own distinctive character.

His work focuses on places shaped by their history, their architecture, and their visual presence.

With the Cafés parisiens collection, he continues this approach by photographing emblematic Parisian establishments at the precise moment when the city has not yet resumed its movement.
